Destination Homes Lifestyle Images For Advertising
"Our photoshoot with Jacom was fantastic! He was extremely efficient and collaborative. He's great at getting the best out of the talent he's shooting, whether they are small children or mature adults. The finished product exceeded our expectations." —Marketing Director
Destination Homes, a local homebuilder with an emphasis on community design, hired us to create lifestyle images for their upcoming marketing materials. In addition to the standard architectural images of their homes, they wanted to portray the emotions of home ownership and typical activities that you enjoy in and around your home… sitting on the front porch and watching the sunrise, having a BBQ in the backyard, reading bedtime stories to the kids, watering the garden with the grandkids, stopping to talk to the neighbors, children watching movies in the theater room, kids playing outside, welcoming daddy home from work, etc.
Their advertising agency Mighty Clever did some phenominal cretive concepting and supplied us with detailed sketches for each concept, which included a red object in each shot (i.e.: a red Radio Flyer wagon, a red lawn mower, red rocking chairs, a red apron, a red book, a red cape, red licorice, etc.) to tie into the Destination Homes' logo. After our location scouting, we selected several different homes that we felt would work best for each shot and Mighty Clever cast all the models. Then over the period of three days, we shot all the images along with a videographer who captured video of each scene as well.
The images are now being used on Destination Homes' new website www.destinationhomes.com, on billboards along the Wasatch Front (Utah Valley, Salt Lake City, and Davis County), and other various marketing materials.
