Without IBEX Home Warranty: Electrical Problems


IBEX To The Rescue: No More Problems.

Most people don’t view insurance as particularly glamorous. Necessary yes, but definitely not exciting. And very few advertising agencies have figured out how to market insurance products in a way that isn’t cut-and-dried or flat out boring. So when the super creative guys at Mighty Clever approached me about doing a fun series of images for a new home warranty company featuring the company’s mascot… an uncommon mountain goat called an ibex, I was definitely on board.

They wanted to create a series of scenarios showing common problems caused when various home appliances fail, and then contrast that with an image of the homeowner happily enjoying a carefree life once the ibex had fixed their problem and saved the day. Mighty Clever is great at thinking outside the box and creating unique campaigns that cut through the clutter and are not easily forgotten.

These images turned out great and have been used in digital and print advertising. They are so fun and have been a real hit with potential customers so far, creating quite the buzz. Creative, design, copywriting, and post processing by Mighty Clever.

Tanner Clinic Outdoor Advertising

The Tanner Clinic needed fresh new images for an outdoor advertising campaign. The direction from their advertising agency was to create authentic, personable images of one of the Tanner Clinic's doctors interacting with a patient. These images are currently featured on several traditional and digital billboards along I-15 in northern Utah. Billboard design by Mighty Clever.

Cotopaxi Libre Sweater

Brandon Fisher and I recently returned from a trip to Nepal where he summited Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. Every day during the 45-day journey, he wore the Cotopaxi Libre alpaca wool sweater. The sweater was incredibly versatile to many different weather conditions and did a great job of wicking moisture without absorbing odors. Cotopaxi was so excited about his incredible experience that they wanted to share the story with their customers. They used the images that I shot of Brandon in an email campaign, on the home page of their website, as well as other digital forms of advertising. Read more about this trek and view other images.
